Welcome to ASOF. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ASOF, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

ASOF provides intelligence and analytics based on historical snapshots of tech trends from Hacker News and other public sources. We offer both free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

To use ASOF, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 13 years old
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial of Pro features. You will not be charged during the trial period.

Paid Subscriptions: After the trial, you will be charged the subscription fee (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Billing: Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled.

Refunds: We offer full refunds within 7 days of your first payment. After that, refunds are at our discretion.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Access continues until the end of your billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or scrape our platform
• Share your account credentials with others
• Abuse our API or automated systems
• Resell or redistribute our data without permission
• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others

6. Intellectual Property

ASOF and its content (excluding public data sources) are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.

The data we provide is aggregated from public sources. We make no claim to ownership of the underlying data.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of ASOF is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use data as described in that policy.

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

• Perform maintenance with or without notice
• Modify or discontinue features
• Change pricing with 30 days notice for existing subscribers

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ASOF is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy or completeness of data
• Fitness for any particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Use of our service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASOF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email.
